These two rather cheeky calves are from Wattle Grove Speckle Park Farm. I really wanted to have a go at painting some Speckle Park cattle because of their unique colouring and markings, and Bin was kind enough to allow me to use her photos as reference. They are extremely tricky to paint, as they seem to have a myriad of colours within their coats, but I feel I captured their cheekiness and inquisitiveness well in this painting. I feel I just want to scratch their heads! The stretched canvas measures 51cm x 61cm 20″x24″, the painting continues down the sides, so is ready to hang as is, or you can add a floating frame once you receive it.
