Using a warm toned very limited palette I wanted to capture the beautiful moment of love shown between the mare and her foal. Simple but yet very striking with a lot of texture within the background. I love to use an abstract type background so that it helps to put all the focus on the the mother and foal, capturing their ever so special bond . This mixed media painting is 91cms x 45.5cm and has been framed in a stunning black floating frame with a gold highlight which just makes this beautiful painting POP!. the overall measurement with the frame is 95cm x49cm.
