I was over the moon to be approached by The Australian Brahman Breeders’ Association to create two large paintings to hang in the “Brahman Lounge” at Beef Week 2024 in Rockhampton. This is the first of the original paintings, ” A Brilliance of Brahman” created from amazing reference photos by Ainsleigh Lancaster Photography at Bungoona Brahmans. Having great photos makes for exciting paintings!
Created on a a 30″x 60″ (76.3cm x 152.4 cm) stretched canvas, it depicts some of the herd enjoying the shade of the trees in the early afternoon. There is something so serene about brahman cows and their calves, with their big dark eyes, huge ears and inquisitive look…just stunning!
