It is a Fine Reproduction of the original painting entitled ‘Sterling’ – (1010x760mm) (40”x30”) [SOLD] which is a mixed media painting done on a stretched canvas. I decided to use mixed media to portray the gorgeous old gentleman named Sterling, he was a rescued race horse who had his own Facebook page during his last happy years of pampered life. The mixed media allowed me to create a lot of texture which helped to emulate movement within the image.
