This simple oil painting is done on a stretched raw linen canvas 61cmx46cm. I left the gorgeous natural raw linen as the background as I didn’t want to take away from the beautiful connection I wanted to portray between the mother and her calf. It is an oil painting from a very limited palette and creates a feeling of peace, closeness and maternal love. Brahman cattle are probably one of the best looking breed of cattle, so handsome/pretty with their stunning dark eyes and big ears!
