This gorgeous little fellow I originally painted on my bathroom cupboard, as I wanted to tie in the new shower curtain covered in gum leaves…so kind of made sense to paint a koala! I just loved the image so much I decided to paint him on a canvas and here he is. Koalas are such beautiful creatures and I am lucky enough to have seen a few in the wild up in trees. I think it looks like he is saying “Who Me?”….in a very slow Australian accent!
It is an oil painting on a 35.6cm x 45.8cm 14″ x 18” stretched 4cm thick canvas, framed in a raw, floating frame to beautifully finish the piece.
