Reproduction of the original painting entitled ‘Turtle on Low Tide’ ’ canvas 610x510mm (24”x20”) This turtle is one of many that come to bask on the beach between tides near where we have a fishing hut. I took hundreds of photos of them all, I think at times they assumed I had a weapon and nota camera in my hand! they weren’t little turtles but boy can they move when they want too! I really enjoyed the challenge of portraying the reflections on the wet sand as well as capturing the movement of these incredible creatures.
