It is a reproduction of the original painting A Mothers Love .This artwork was the result of me trying a few new options using plywood, bass wood, and MDF boards. I was trying to see if I could somehow draw with charcoal simply on a painted smooth surface …and bingo this happened!
I am so happy with the result , it is wonderful to create such intimate moments on such a simple surface using a medium I have struggled with for years .
The original is 46 x 30cm (18″x 12″).
