I was wanting to explore different background effects so as to create a soft, pleasurable look to it and put all the focus onto the subject. This little wallaby was just so sweet ,soft and innocent and I wanted to capture this with the softest of brushstrokes, creating a softness and dreamy effect. The canvas measures 30.5cm x 25.5cm and is a mixed media painting.
