This painting entitled ‘Pride and Joy’ is the gorgeous moment when the new born calf is welcomed and becomes part of the herd. The original is painted on a stretched raw linen canvas that measures 24″x 36″ or 61 cm x 91.5 cm . I used oil paint to depict these amazing animals, they all have the most striking blue eyes and you can feel the love and emotion within the image. I am so very lucky to have wonderful friends who allow me to use there awesome photos to create my artwork, I am blessed.
The painting has been framed in a stunning yet simple raw timber floating frame that just finishes the piece perfectly. The overall measurement, including the frame is 95cm wide by 65 cm high.
