This original painting has SOLD, it is a mixed media painting of a Beautiful Andalusian horse named ‘Cambio’ in France. I was privileged to sponsor a very talented photographer from USA, Karen Broemmelsick, which helped her to follow her dream and participate in a photography course and go over to France to photograph beautiful horses.
In return we, the sponsors, got to choose an image from her returning portfolio that became our own and this was my choice.
The painting is very much a mixed media work with a lot of textures and materials added to the background and then finished in oils. The mood within the painting I just love, you can just about feel Cambio’s presence while you stand in front of this very large painting. It measures 122cms x 91cms (48″x36″)
It has been framed in a stunning gold frame to accentuate the earthy colours within the image, the overall measurement with the frame is 141cm x 110cm.
