The original painting was inspired by a photo taken by @capturedby_genni_m on Instagram. I loved the forward motion of them both and wanted to push the colour scheme up another level! I have gone back to how I used to add textures into my background, as I feel it gives the painting, as a whole, much more interest, and helps to create more movement. The sand and small stones add to the texture of the ground…making it more 3D. I am loving the colours, complimenting each other to create an appealing image.
The canvas is 30″x40″ 102cmx76cm x4cm.
