These gorgeous two kelpies were on a day trip to the beach with their mum Nicky, from Dawson River Kelpies, and I just fell in love with their expressions, typical kelpie candor; open, honest and very forthright! I was out at the Emerald AgGrow in June and decided this would be a perfect painting to be doing while chatting to people coming into my stall. I had a wonderful time there and the painting has a lovely, colourful emotion attached to it. The original canvas measures 76cm x 51cm 30″x20″.
